Abstrakt: A new report from Lund University in Sweden discusses research findings on ruptured aneurysms. The study aimed to identify adverse events (AEs) related to endovascular treatment of aneurysms, analyze risk factors for AEs, and assess their impact on patient outcomes. The study found that 16% of patients experienced AEs during endovascular treatment, with thromboembolic events being the most common. Aneurysm re-rupture during treatment was associated with an increased risk of unfavorable functional outcomes. The study provides valuable insights into the risks and outcomes associated with endovascular treatment for ruptured aneurysms. [Extracted from the article]
