A report from Jiangsu Normal University in Xuzhou, China discusses research on cancer biomarkers and the challenges of detecting them accurately. The researchers propose a novel composite material called UCNP@SiO2 + QDs, which combines rare earth upconversion and perovskite quantum dots, to create a fluorescent probe for cancer biomarker detection. The probe is highly sensitive and can specifically identify the myeloma cancer biomarker miRNA-155 at low concentrations. The researchers believe that this design could provide new ideas for the early diagnosis and treatment of cancer, tumors, and cardiovascular diseases. [Extracted from the article] |
