Development of Hot-Rolled High-Strength Coil Steel with a Thickness of 4 mm for Load-Lifting Equipment.

Abstrakt: The results of mastering hot rolling under conditions of a continuous wide-band mill 2000 of Severstal PJSC of coiled steel Powerform 700 have been presented with a thickness of 4 mm and a width of 1270 mm, supplied to the engineering industry for elements of lifting equipment and heavy automotive industry. The results of calculation of roughing and finishing rolling modes and testing of the developed technology under operating production conditions have been presented. The achievability of forming the properties of hot-rolled coils of 4 mm thick with a strength category of at least 700 MPa is shown, and the prospects for its production in industrial quantities for all areas of mechanical engineering and construction have been noted.
