The paper considers the achievements of domestic science and industry in the construction of smalltonnage refrigerated tanks for storing liquefied natural gas (LNG). Designs of fluid pumps for filling and emptying refrigerated storage tanks (RSTs), as well as for the circulation of LNG in storage facilities, together with the designs of valves, control and measuring instrumentation, and other related equipment, are analyzed. The prospect of using the "Eco-concrete" innovative technology (ultrahigh pressure concreting in a water-aerosol medium), as well as the innovative method of constructing metal RSTs by spiral-wound welding ("mechanized plate-by-plate assembly of the tank wall by the top-down construction method"), is considered. Using these innovative technologies, safe-to-operate, smalltonnage refrigerated storage tanks with a reliability of at least 1∙10-8 can be constructed. The high efficiency and safety of the RST during its life cycle will be ensured by the introduction of domestic BIM technology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
