The COVID-19 pandemic can be seen as a displacing event of collective nature that increased the sense of uncertainty through generations. This could be particularly true among young adults and teenagers who are transitioning into adulthood and thus have to take important life choices in a context where the labor market was already extremely uncertain for them, so much so that they were called the "losers of globalization" (Mills, Blossfeld & Klijzing, 2006). Through an online survey, the research "Youth and Pandemic" investigated which personal resources have been useful to young people to deal with the uncertainty regarding change and future caused by the pandemic.
