The article discusses several recent judgments by the European Courts related to environmental issues. Similar cases are pending against other Member States. Another case examines the requirement for an environmental impact assessment (EIA) for a hotel complex in Vienna, highlighting the need for flexibility in assessing the environmental impact of projects. The article also discusses cases related to air pollution in Portugal, noise abatement in Poland, and the authorization of a carcinogenic substance.
