Abstrakt: | Researchers from the University of Lyon have published a report on the development of a polymeric cerebral aneurysm for the mechanical characterization of aneurysm walls. The study aimed to provide clinicians with a non-invasive patient-specific decision support tool by analyzing in vivo mechanical data. The researchers used 3D printing and injection molding to create artery models and developed a numerical Fluid-Structure Interaction model based on the finite element method.
