Abstrakt: A recent study published in The International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging examined the accuracy of free-breathing multi-parametric Sasha in identifying T1 and T2 elevations in pediatric orthotopic heart transplant (OHT) patients. The study found that free-breathing mapping using mSASHA T1/T2 maps can effectively identify hotspots present on conventional BH T1/T2 maps in pediatric patients with OHT, with high sensitivity, specificity, and overlap in 3D space. This method may improve patient comfort and facilitate OHT assessment in younger patient populations. The research was conducted by the Division of Cardiology at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. [Extracted from the article]
