A recent study conducted by the University of Molise in Italy aimed to explore the attitudes and beliefs of Generation Z Italian consumers towards sustainable seafood production and consumption. The study surveyed 778 Italian students attending secondary schools and found that while some groups were aligned with sustainable development goals, almost half of the sample showed insensitivity, unawareness, or irresolution regarding the sustainability of seafood. Interestingly, the study also revealed that people's environmental consciousness did not strongly correlate with the frequency of consuming sustainable seafood. The research provides valuable insights into the profiles and perspectives of Generation Z regarding sustainable seafood. [Extracted from the article] |
