Abstrakt: This article discusses five unexplained phenomena related to the human body. Firstly, the reason why we yawn is still not fully understood, but some scientists believe it may be to cool our brains and maintain alertness. Secondly, the purpose of sleep is not yet known, but recent research suggests that it may help clear toxins from the brain. Thirdly, the placebo effect, where patients experience improvements despite receiving no active treatment, is still not fully understood, but it may involve the activation of the brain's pain relief system or the immune system. Fourthly, the predominance of right-handedness in humans is not fully explained, but it may be linked to language processing in the brain. Lastly, the function of the appendix is still a mystery, but one theory suggests that it may provide a safe haven for beneficial bacteria. [Extracted from the article]
