Abstrakt: | A recent study conducted in a rural municipality in Nepal aimed to assess oral hygiene practices and associated factors among middle-aged people. The study found that the majority of respondents brushed their teeth once a day, with over half having poor oral hygiene practices. Gender and education were found to be associated with good oral hygiene practices, with females and literate individuals having higher odds of good oral hygiene. The study suggests the need for oral health services and hygiene awareness programs in rural areas. [Extracted from the article] |
