Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hangzhou, China, explored the association between nadir hemoglobin concentration after spinal tumor surgery and the risk of composite adverse events. The study analyzed data from spinal tumor patients who received intraoperative blood transfusion and found that patients with a nadir hemoglobin level below 9.0 g/dL had a significantly higher risk of postoperative composite adverse events.
