A recent report from researchers at Federal University Maranhao in Sao Luis, Brazil, explores the potential diagnostic and prognostic applications of Klotho proteins in cancer. The study analyzed research articles published between 2012 and 2022 to investigate the role of Klotho in various types of cancer. The findings suggest that aKlotho is consistently associated with improved prognosis and may be useful in estimating patient survival.
