Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Urmia University of Medical Sciences in Orumiyeh, Iran, explores the relationship between coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery and microRNAs (miRNAs). MiRNAs are small noncoding RNA molecules that regulate gene expression and have been implicated in various cardiovascular disorders. The study suggests that changes in miRNA expression levels during the perioperative period of CABG surgery could potentially be used to improve the diagnosis of post-surgery complications and stratify risk in patients. The research highlights the potential prognostic and diagnostic value of miRNAs in CABG patients. [Extracted from the article]
