Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan examined the levels of heavy metals among automobile workers in Mingora City, Pakistan. The study focused on three different groups of workers: battery recyclers, spray painters, and mechanics. The results showed that the battery recycling group had the highest levels of lead (Pb) and chromium (Cr), while the mechanics group had the highest levels of cadmium (Cd). These findings highlight the need for regulatory measures to improve the health of automobile workers, although further research is necessary to fully understand the health risks associated with heavy metal exposure in this population.
