Conflict management strategies: an empirical study on industrial conflict effect on employees' productivity.

Abstrakt: One of the key abilities that significantly affects the everyday duties that employees must complete is conflict management. During an organization's everyday operations, conflict is inevitable. This research examined at how Tamil Nadu's manufacturing companies were impacted by conflict management strategies. 250 employees who were randomly chosen from a stratified sample made up of the respondents. Data were made by utilizing a predetermined set of questions that had been approved. Data gathered from respondents were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Spearman correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed to test the proposed hypothesis. The outcome of the analysis revealed that the collaborating strategy, compromising strategy, accommodating strategy, competing strategy, and avoiding strategy favourably influence employee productivity. The findings indicated that both effective conflict management strategies have an impact on workers' performance inside the organisation. It was suggested that the organisation begin training and retraining its personnel in the field of conflict management in order to establish a pleasant environment for workers. Also, it was suggested that all staff types in the organisation should have productive and effective interaction with one another. Conflicts inside the organisation will become less frequent as a result. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
