This article presents a study conducted in India to determine the preferred learning styles of undergraduate medical students using the VARK model. The study found that the most common learning style among the students was unimodal, followed by tetramodal. Gender did not significantly influence learning style preference, but there was a tendency for students to shift towards tetramodal learning as they progressed through their medical education. The article acknowledges the study's limitations and emphasizes the need for additional research on the connection between learning styles and academic performance. [Extracted from the article] |
