Abstrakt: This article discusses a case of cutis verticis gyrata (CVG), a condition characterized by excessive skin growth on the scalp, resulting in ridges and furrows that resemble the folds of the brain. The patient, a 59-year-old man with severe plaque psoriasis, noticed the thickening of his scalp skin after a haircut. Various tests, including ultrasound and biopsy, were performed to confirm the diagnosis of secondary CVG. The patient's condition improved after treatment with ixekizumab, a biologic therapy. The article also provides the first description of CVG using ultrasound imaging. The authors suggest that this case and the ultrasound findings can aid in the diagnosis and treatment of CVG.
