This article examines the impact of hypertension during pregnancy and explores coping strategies for pregnant women. It specifically focuses on the use of Benson relaxation to reduce anxiety and blood pressure in pregnant women with hypertension. The study used a Quasi-Experimental design with a randomized pretest-posttest control group. The findings indicate that Benson relaxation had a positive effect on reducing anxiety and lowering blood pressure in pregnant women. This research provides valuable insights into the potential use of Benson relaxation as a treatment for pregnant women with hypertension. However, it is important to consider individual characteristics that may influence the response to relaxation techniques, and further research is needed to understand the underlying mechanisms.
