Abstrakt: Abstract—Analytical dependences are obtained for the plasma jet temperature and velocity at the nozzle exit section of an F4-type plasma spray gun using plasma-forming gases argon and nitrogen under various operating conditions. It is found that an increase in the argon and nitrogen flow rates decreases the plasma jet temperature and increases the plasma jet velocity and an increase in the arc current increases the plasma jet temperature and velocity.
