The quality of construction is one of the key factors determining the viability and prospects for the development of this area of practical activity (material production). Quality indicators characterize the degree of conformity of the suitability of a construction object of a certain functional purpose with the required parameters of operating conditions, efficiency and reliability of operation. The development of rational solutions aimed at achieving the quality indicators of construction products and their practical implementation is a constantly urgent task of architectural, construction and production activities, it requires the development and improvement of relevant research methods. The purpose of research in this article is to identify the conditions and develop a methodological justification for managing the processes of formation of quality indicators of construction objects at various stages (periods) of the life cycle. The main result of the study is the development of the provisions of a scientific hypothesis on the evaluation of possible solutions using an integral indicator of the functional quality of a construction object. This indicator was adopted on the basis of the main result of a system analysis of decisions on the formation and implementation of the functional quality of a construction object at various stages (mandatory and possible) of the life cycle. The proposed concept can be considered as a direction for expanding the capabilities in relation to the management of production processes that ensure the achievement of quality indicators for construction objects of various functional and technological purposes.
