Research of siphons and similar tubular construction in transient modes are executed. It is established that in such pipes two types of a transient mode depending on flow capacity and type head at the inlet were formed. The transient mode of the first type was observed at smooth head at the inlet and a head like "hood", and the second type – at portal head at the inlet. Despite not stationarity of a transient mode, fluctuation of a flow capacity and water level before a pipe insignificant. The experimental dependences allowing to evaluate the flow capacity and intensity of pressure pulsation in a pipe at a transient mode for three types head at the inlet are given. It allows to define upper and lower borders of a transient mode in pipes. The greatest intensity of pressure pulsation was observed at the end of an entrance inclined pipe section at the first type of a transient mode in its initial phase, that is at the movement on a pipe of single air bubbles. Use "not self-loaded" portal head at the inlet has allowed to reduce the maximum intensity of pressure pulsation in a pipe not less than by 2.5 times. At installation of a corrugated pipe instead of smooth one after a relining the area of an adverse transient mode of the second type significantly decreases and the area in which transition happens smoothly through the first type of a transient mode extends.
