A recent study conducted by researchers at Kashan University of Medical Sciences in Iran explored the effects of Nano-Curcumin (Nano-CUR) on smokers with anxiety disorders. The study involved 70 participants who were divided into two groups, with one group receiving Nano-CUR capsules and the other receiving a placebo. The results showed that Nano-CUR supplementation led to a significant decrease in levels of nitric oxide, malondialdehyde, and C-reactive protein in smokers. However, there were no significant changes in nicotine dependence, depression, anxiety, or other metabolic parameters. Further research is needed to determine the effectiveness of Nano-CUR supplementation in smokers. [Extracted from the article] |
