Researchers from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University have conducted a study to identify biomarkers related to myocardial infarction (heart attack) by constructing a ceRNA regulation network. The study analyzed expression profile data from the Gene Expression Omnibus database and identified differentially expressed RNAs. The researchers constructed a co-expression network of lncRNA-mRNA and a ceRNA network associated with myocardial infarction. They found that certain biomarkers, such as hsa-miR-1291 and Retinoid acid receptor-related orphan receptor a (RORA), were significantly different between the myocardial infarction group and the normal group. This study provides insights into potential biomarkers for myocardial infarction. [Extracted from the article] |
