Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Sun Yat-Sen University in China explored the association between bisphenol A (BPA) exposure and mortality in American adults. The study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and found that higher levels of BPA exposure were linked to increased all-cause and cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality. However, the study also found that a higher quality diet was associated with a reduction in all-cause mortality, particularly at low BPA exposure levels. The researchers concluded that while improving dietary quality can lower mortality rates, minimizing BPA exposure remains an important goal. [Extracted from the article]
