A recent study conducted by researchers at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, explored the effects of clomiphene citrate (CC) on men with hypogonadism and infertility. The study focused on oligospermic obese men and found that treatment with CC significantly improved sperm concentration and motility. Additionally, the study observed an increase in serum testosterone levels in oligospermic hypogonadal obese men treated with CC. The findings suggest that CC treatment can improve fertility outcomes and increase testosterone levels in these individuals without the need for expensive testosterone replacement therapy.
