Abstrakt: A new report discusses research findings on sustainable food and agriculture, specifically focusing on the issue of farmland ownership and its impact on the sector. The study conducted by Brawijaya University in Indonesia used the Repertory Grid Technique (RGT) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to understand the cognitive factors and implicit values that influence decisions on farmland ownership. The research identified six ownership decisions, with "buying" and "keep farming" being associated with sustainable farming practices, while "joint farming", "leasing", "selling", and "converting" were found to threaten farming sustainability. The study provides insights for policymakers and stakeholders to develop context-specific policies and strategies for sustainable agriculture. [Extracted from the article]
