A recent study conducted by researchers at North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences explores the role of non-coding RNA polymorphisms in the resistance to lung cancer therapies. Lung cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, and current treatments have limited success. The study suggests that understanding genetic variations and genotyping known polymorphisms could lead to more personalized and effective treatments for lung cancer patients. However, there is currently no reliable biomarker to predict lung cancer sensitivity during treatment.
