Abstrakt: | A new study conducted by the Department of Histology has examined the effects of various drugs on the cardiovascular system of rats after prenatal hypoxia. The researchers found that Angiolin showed a high cardioprotective effect even after discontinuation of the drug, while Thiotriazoline and L-arginine had antioxidant effects and positive effects on eNOS expression. Mildronate increased the expression of eNOS and the concentration of HSP70, but did not have an antioxidant effect. These findings suggest that modulators of the NO system have cardioprotective effects with different mechanisms of action after prenatal hypoxia. [Extracted from the article] |
