Abstrakt: Objective. To identify the authentic leadership dimensions demonstrated by nurse leaders and to analyze the relationship between these dimensions, personality types, and job satisfaction among both leaders and their followers. Methods. A descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted with 111 nurses using the Instruments Authentic Leadership Questionnaire, Job Satisfaction Survey, and Myers–Briggs Type Indicator®. The statistical methods used included Spearman correlation coefficients, nonparametric Mann–Whitney tests, and generalized estimating equation models with gamma distribution. Results. There was a significant difference between the evaluations of authentic leadership by leaders and followers. There was a significant association between authentic leadership and job satisfaction among followers (p value >0.05), while no correlation was observed between authentic leadership, job satisfaction, and personality type among leaders. Conclusions. The findings indicate a positive correlation between authentic leadership dimensions and job satisfaction among followers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
