Abstrakt: Virtual Teleporter is a virtual 3D scene generation system. The objective of the system is to automatically convert text to 3D scene and thus to provide VR immersive experience through VR gears. The system is an end-user-oriented application where the users provide a textual description of the scene to be generated. The scenes generated are fully immersive and interactive in nature, allowing the users to explore them. The users can navigate through the scene using controls/gestures or even by real physical walking. The system allows the user to provide the input via a simple desktop application and makes use of a Smartphone mounted inside Google Cardboard viewer for Head Mounted Display (HMD). The system understands the semantics of the generated scene and enhances the VR experience further by adding on its own, more elements relevant to the scene (including sound effects and animation). Results have shown that the system is well-received by end-users owing to its cost-effectiveness and ease of usage. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
