Abstrakt: | The article focuses on community-based participatory research conducted in Tokyo, regarding the disclosure of dementia diagnoses among older residents. It explores factors influencing the sharing of a dementia diagnosis with neighbors and emphasizes the importance of such disclosure for receiving support. It highlight gender differences, indicating that being male, lack of trust in neighbors, and living in a separate house are associated with a reluctance to share dementia diagnoses. |
