Abstrakt: This article reports that peripheral neuropathies have been reported in 0.1 to 2 percent of lymphoma patients, least commonly in Hodgkin's disease. A case study is being presented wherein a 36-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with severe peripheral lower limb burning dysesthesias, developed acutely over a few days. He had great difficulty in walking due to intense pain upon contact with the ground. Examination revealed mild pyrexia, no lymphadenopathy, antalgic gait, normal muscle power, normal upper limb tendon reflexes, diminished ankle reflexes bilaterally, mildly reduced right patellar reflex, symmetrically reduced distal lower limb vibration and position sense, pain and temperature sensation, and severe distal lower limb allodynia.
