The main natural disaster faced by the city of Semarang is flooding with a long inundation. One of the efforts to prevent and reduce the impact of flood disasters is to use pumps in flood-prone areas in Semarang City. The pump converts mechanical energy from a driver into potential energy, so that the liquid fluid moves and has a pressure according to its head. The pump used is a hydraulic axial pump. This hydraulic axial pump is driven mechanically by a motor that functions to convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy by pressing hydraulic fluid into the system. Proper maintenance is also required to maximize the performance of the Hydraulic Axial Pump. To maximize performance, an appropriate maintenance system is needed to minimize downtime. Weibull is an appropriate method for determining which includes critical and non-critical parts and is often used in determining the level of failure or damage from the data pattern formed. The results obtained from testing 5 pumps using this method produce the same 3 critical components for each pump of the Hydraulic Axial Pump, namely the mechanical seal, bearing, and shaft. From the analysis results obtained MTTF value and reliability value of the six pumps on each critical component. These data can be used as a reference to determine the periodic maintenance program in reducing the downtime of these components. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
