This study is a descriptive study that aims to describe and analyze the results of high school Biology teachers' perceptions toward Citizen Science. Teachers' perceptions were obtained using a Citizen Science evaluation framework questionnaire on several aspects including background, knowledge, skills, interests, self-confidence, media, and expectations. Online survey forms were used for data collection. The survey question consists of 20 items and its distributed via Google form and filled out by 54 respondents. All participants who filled out the questionnaire were high school Biology teachers from South Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Lampung, Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Central Kalimantan. Then interviews were held to find out a deeper perception of Citizen Science. The results show that most high school Biology teachers still do not know much about the terms and concepts of Citizen Science. Result also found that not all teachers who already know the terms and concepts of citizen science have applied it in learning activities and in the other hand, there are some teachers who have involved learning with participation activities in scientific research but do not use Citizen Science as a term. According to the teacher's explanation, the curriculum used by school could support Citizen Science activities or could become an obstacle due to the busy class hours so that project activities such as Citizen Science could not be implemented in classroom. However, even though 54.7% of teachers think that their students do not have the skills to conduct scientific research, 88.7% of high school Biology teachers are interested in applying Citizen Science in classroom. The result obtained in this research has an impact on the contribution to the Citizen Science development within the scope of formal education, especially at the high school level in Indonesia.
