In this work, nineteen aryl-cyclohexanones diesters and their derivatives were synthesized based on the aryl-cyclohexane skeleton of phytocannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD), and were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory and macrophage polarization potential.
