| Abstrakt: |
To define the prospects of HC resources development in the Bering Sea water area, the authors conducted numerical basin modelling and the HC system modelling for the Bering Sea water area performed in the software "PetroMod". The research and modeling results helped to make a forecast for the distribution of potentially oil and gas bearing horizons belonging to the Paleogene and Neogene periods. The article provides a maturity forecast for the organic matters of the oil&bearing strata of the Anadyrskiy oil&gas bearing region. HC system modelling allowed justifying the first priority regions and the sections of the arrangement of oil&gas exploration works in the region. Apparently, detailed oil&gas exploration and survey works in this part of the water area shall be concentrated in its coast lands at the sections covering the immediate continuation of the ground productive areas of the Cainozoic section both at the Anadyrskiy and the Khatyrskiy coastlines.
