Industrial construction is one of the most promising sectors of the today's Russian economy. Currently, this sector is developing actively due to the growth of construction and installation works associated with the strengthening of the industrial potential of the country. Management of industrial construction is directly dependent on the quality and analyticity of information developed within the framework of management accounting. However, the establishment and maintenance of this type of accounting at modern construction companies has a number of pending methodical issues. To overcome the existing challenges, the authors propose to use fundamentally new approaches towards implementation of management processes for industrial production through building up the information interrelations among the core business processes using the appropriate automated platforms. Objective of the research: to develop a mechanism for the design of a management accounting system providing information for business processes in industrial construction management under digitalization of the business environment. Research methodology/methods: observation and collection of data, modelling and scientific abstraction. Results obtained: identification of the structure and description of the core business processes of management accounting in industrial construction, establishment of their information interrelations, allowing to implement the digitalization of the business environment. Areas for further research: strengthening the analyticity of the management accounting system through more detailed elaboration of the main business processes and their subsequent digitalization.
