Abstrakt: Induction motors are essential components in many industrial processes. This study aims to determine theremaining useful life (RUL) in a case study of a 13mm drilling machine's induction motor to detect potential failure without failure histsorical data. This research followed PHM's steps in determining the RUL. In this study, the ARMA model was applied to predict the temperature of the induction motor. Temperature forecasting data is used to predict when the motor temperature exceeds the threshold. The threshold value was determined through interviews and the standard was obtained from the NEMA MG 1, 2010 standard. Temperature data used to build the model were data observed from September 2 to 24, 2020 on weekdays. The temperature sensor used in this study is the FLIR TG 267 thermal imaging sensor. The results of analysis using the Box-Jenkins method show that ARMA (1,1) is a proper model for temperature forecasting of an induction motor. From this model, the results obtained to detect the failure of the induction motor temperature will pass the threshold value after 7 hours of operation. After reaching this temperature, the machine is checked to prevent breakdown failure. This model is hopefully can be used to determine RUL for future prediction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
