In the present paper, the ternary Tm-Cu-Ge system is thermodynamically modeled for the first time based on experimental information and employing thermodynamic descriptions of limiting binary systems, Tm-Ge, Cu-Ge and Tm-Ge, reported in the literature. The enthalpies of formation were calculated using the Muggianu model taking into account the formation enthalpies of the three binary subsystems of the ternary system.
