Abstrakt: This work aims to investigate experimentally the effects of adding cement, lime, water and different fibers on the thermal behavior of compressed earth bricks CEB. The experiment results showed that increasing lime or cement percentage from 0 to 10% leads to the increase of the thermal conductivity by 19% and 26% respectively. In addition, it was also shown that the addition of water content increases the thermal conductivity. However, the reinforcement of CEB by 2% of sawdust, straw, argan and palm fibers reduces the thermal conductivity of samples. Based on the findings, it is concluded that it is critical to choose the optimum content of stabilizers, water and fibers in order to have good thermal insulation of building materials.
