District is one of the fine key elements that shape the image and identity of urban cities. This study looks at physical qualities that relate to the spatial and attributes data of building façades by using thematic mapping tools for Bandar Baru Kampar, Perak. This paper aims to identify the types of commercial building façade districts by generating geospatial analysis using a thematic mapping tool, where the dominant architectural style facade can influence the image and the identity of the city. Qualitative data was conducted in this study to develop databases that consist of the attributes of visual elements such as shape, colours, materials, and architectural styles. Briefly, the thematic mapping of the building façade district can assist the urban designers and Kampar district council in their local plan of Kampar district for the future development of commercial urban planning and development.
