Abstrakt: Pluchea indica Less is widely grown in Indonesia and is used as a traditional medicine, empirically the Pluchea indica Less plant is used as an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-diuretic, analgesic, its leaves are utilized as a vegetable. Flavonoids that are be found in the Pluchea indica Less plant which have an antioxidant effect. The potential pharmacological activity and information on the chemical content from the s Pluchea indica Less need to be explored further for the development and utilization of Pluchea indica Less for the purpose of this study. Therefore, the aim of these research was to identify compound content and quantified total flavonoid and total phenol in Pluchea indica Less. The isolation method consists of smoothing the leaves of Pluchea indica Less extracting the sample with 70% ethanol, solvent then was filtered, evaporated and then concentrated to give crude extract. Antioxidant activity was determined by assessing DPPH scavenging assays by in-vitro. Furthermore LC-MS/MS was done to identify the compound contents in the Pluchea indica less leaves. Phytolaccagenic acid was obtained from Pluchea indica Less leaves. Plucheaindica less have antioxidant activity with IC50 = 27.10 µg/mL and antidiabetic activity is 81.78 µg/mL. Phytolaccagenic acid showed an antioxidant activity again DPPH with IC50 106. 87 µg/mL and antidiabetic activity is 102.31 µg/mL. Total phenolic content in the Pluchea indica Less is 97.6 µgGaE/mg extract, and total flavonoid content is 530.7µgQE/mg extract. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
