Abstrakt: The purpose of this research was to investigate the transition densities distribution for two particles and holes using random phase approximation, with the assumption that the lower states of A+2 are two-particle actuators operating on correlated nuclei and A-2 are correlated two-hole operators operating on the same ground state. The investigation is limited to the s, p, and d shells. The PSD and WBP interactions were introduced to study the nuclear structure of 18B and 18N, constructed in (0 − 1)ħω model space in the total angular momenta and isospin scheme. The transition density was studied with the presence of modified surface delta interaction (MSDI). The Hamiltonian is used in this study within the potential of the harmonic oscillator (HO) to compute transition density. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
