Abstrakt: Cement manufacturing's environmental risks have become a significant concern of the construction industry. Environmental risks and carbon footprint can be impeded by restricting cement usage and using eco-friendly admixtures. Geopolymer concrete development is a significant innovation wherein fly ash and alkaline solutions are primarily used. This study focuses on the investigation of pozzocrete fly ash based Geo-Polymer Concrete (GPC) in partial replacement by waste foundry sand and Microwave Incinerated Rice Husk Ash (MIRHA). The compressive strength of partial replacement by MIRHA is high when compared with cement concrete of the same design. A 3% replacement by MIRHA in pozzocrete fly ash GPC gives maximum compressive strength. The compressive strength of foundry sand indicates that it possesses higher compressive strength than MIRHA or plain cement concrete altogether. This research has laid evidence and direction to further conduct research in sustainable concrete as an alternative to conventional concrete components. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
