Abstrakt: | The article discusses results from the program called Parenting While Black: Growing and Healing Together, a strengths-based community-collaborative group intervention that provides parents with tools to promote their youth's positive racial identity development and academic achievement. It describes outcomes of the program in areas including positive racial identity development, racism coping and responding, and effective educational involvement strategies for African American families. |
