Abstrakt: N6A-methyladenosLne (m6A) modification of RNA is the most abundant modification in most eukaryotic RNAs and is involved in almost all stages of the RNA lifecycle, playing crucial roles in regulating RNA expression, splicing, translation, stability, degradation, etc. Recent studies have suggested that m6A modification plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC); however, the underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear. This review summarizes the current research progress on the role of m6A modification in HCC progression, drug resistance, radiofrequency ablation therapy, and immunotherapy, aiming to provide valuable insights for the precise treatment of HCC patients.
