Atmospheric conditions and terrain are representative elements of radar operating environments. The radar operating environment varies depending on the installation location and changes radar performance. In the case of the atmospheric condition, it changes every moment and changes radar performance, so it is not easy to supplement radar performance by reflecting it in real time. On the other hand, in the case of terrain, when radar is installed, the surrounding terrain information does not change significantly, so radar performance can be supplemented through analysis. In this paper, the radar performance variation was analyzed according to the beam steering angle reflecting the atmospheric measurement data of the past five years using the M&S analysis tool. As a result, when the beam was raised by 0.3° compared to the original angle, the maximum detection range increased by about 7.1 NM, and the standard deviation was reduced by about 1.2 NM.
