The ̅∂-dressing Method for the Vector Newell Long Waves-Short Waves Equation.

Abstrakt: The ̅∂-dressing method is an effective method to find exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. In this paper, the ̅∂-dressing method is extended to study the vector Newell long waves-short waves equation (VNLSE) with the cases σ = ±1. The VNLSE is worked out on a local (n + 2) x (n + 2) matrix ̅∂-equation and two linear equations with constraints. The symmetry conditions of the spectral transformation matrix are derived. N-soliton solutions of the threecomponent Newell long waves-short waves equation (TCNLSE) are constructed by choosing a spectral transformation matrix satisfying the symmetry conditions. The relationship between the parameters and the types of the solution of the TCNLSE is discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
