The article discusses the evolving relationship between translation as a profession and as an academic field in Brazil. It highlights the significance of addressing the historical conflict embedded in Brazilian Portuguese and the critical role of literary translation in this context. It also discusses the changing paradigms in literary translation, moving away from rigid formal grammar and towards representations of colloquial language in recent translations. |
